It's cold...
Went to Manchester Alliance Church to see how's their Sunday service was like... well it's much like our youth service cause it's mostly filled with young people though they have a few older people there... well the message was a little nicer i guess... like they have points... Pr Karl was talking about the vine and the branches... how we need to live and act upon our christian lives. He said that it's just not in the context of evangelism but of all aspects. Jesus keeps repeating the word REMAIN.. we need to remain in Him, and love him by loving it means to be obedient to Him. When He said He is the TRUE vine it means He is what a vine suppose to be because in the old testament a vine represent the Israelites and sometimes means the bad stuff they have done. The passage was taken from john 15:1-17
Well we were actually asked to read out loud the scriptures before the preacher preaches. when i came to verse 2 which says " He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful." last time i got it mix up with verse 6 which says " If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned."
So what i understand before is if I don't produce fruit I will be cut off and throw into the fire... well that is why i was quite scare of the evangelism part.. cause if i don't perform i'll get pluck out and thrown into the fire, but now that i've read it .. it's a whole lot different story.
Now i understand that he only plucks out the branches that don't bear fruit and He will help me in the parts where i do good and make it better. Aaaahhhh~ what a relieve... hehe =)
MAC seems nice... maybe i'll try going there again next week to see how things go before i settle down... =)... so .. see you tomorrow.. chaoz.
Ou yeah , this morning my gastric was really bad... i stayed in my bed and started to pray.. and for all you know... i was heal.. hahahahhahah. All praise be to God.. Woo Hoo!!!!!
